HQ Updates

Its been almost a year since I had to retire my lexus es300. I've been using a lightly modified pt cruiser as the grocery getter. I think my ES300 finally died near 300k miles. This cruiser is at about half of that with 166k.

I've been testing different cars in the racing simulation rig, to get an idea of what purchase to make in the future! I've been test driving the Mazda RX8 in the simulation rig, alot lately.

I think the biggest change since last week was updating the layout here. I moved my dining table to the movie room where the projector screen is mounted. Then, I moved the couch out into the living room where my computer desk is setup. It's personally been awesome seeing this place evolve over the past few months.

I put the wooden desk where the dining table used be and started setting up my tattoo equipment. I've been looking at different chairs and arm rests on Amazon over the past couple of days. I'm realizing now that the space has evolved the way it has, in preparation for Daemonic Ink - my new private tattoo studio.

I had the chance to upgrade the simulation driving rig again, by installing a new roof panel. I also made a modification to chair, affecting the overall realism of the station. Its crazy how fast the months seem to be flying by. I still can't believe that we're halfway through 2022. It feels like New Years Eve was just a few weeks ago.

Since moving the dining table into the movie room, I haven't had the chance to use it that often. I've been so busy working on the new brands, that I spend most of my time pacing back and forth between different workstations in the living room area. Once my workflow calms down a bit, I'm aiming to have all my meals in the movie room, to help my mind take a break from the grind.

It feels so funny driving in real life, after doing laps on the simulation racing rig. The force feedback in the G29 steering wheel is so realistic, that when I drive my real car, I can barely tell a difference. I find myself comparing the graphics of "life" to the game graphics, paying attention to the way shadows are cast.

This and the next few articles will be on the shorter side. My focus is on daily operations of projects relating to my ministry, so i've been in overdrive mode lately. I did want to share photos with you and give you an idea of what's going on behind the scenes though!
