Night Owl

I've been on a solid work schedule for about a month now. The actual times of things have been a bit off from the original plan, but the overall structure is the same. Example, I was trying to start my day at 7am, but the downside is in order to get 7 to 7.5 hours of sleep, I had to be in bed asleep by midnight.

I've been a night owl for the past decade, usually going to bed around 5am. For about 2 weeks straight I was up at 7 everyday, but then it started to slip away. Currently I've been starting my day around 10am, and going to bed between 3am and 4am.

This past week was a lot less chaotic than usual. I had time to make some updates to the simulation rig. I think that the current setup is the best it has even been, especially since upgrading from Gran Turismo 5, to Gran Turismo 6. They made some changes in the way the interior view displays. It looks so realistic now. I have some updates pending for the Godly Villains category, which will go more in depth into each work station.

In gran turismo 6 : so far I've purchased & modified a late 80's Honda Crx, and a Mazda Rx8. I also purchased an evo, but after seeing that in real life they're around $35k, I think the RX8 is still the top candidate. The thing that really changed my mind, was trying to compete in a circuit race with the Evo. For some reason the handling was terrible, even though its AWD.

For those of you who don't know, AWD stands for "All Wheel Drive" and describes which tires power goes to on the car. Usually AWD cars are alot easier to drive, due to having more traction. I did a few laps in the Evo, then parked it in the garage. I jumped in the RX8 and took it to the same track.

To my surprise, the RX8 placed a higher ranking with a faster best lap time, compared to the Evo. I just finished adding a turbo to the CRX and I'm in grind mode, to stack credits to purchase a Tesla. I'm curious to see how well it does on the track!

I thought that I would be done moving furniture around since I did so much the past two weeks. I've been sleeping later and later the past few days, I think because the layout of the bedroom needed to change. I was forced to throw everything away and start over and figured I might as well take a few photos. I'm in the final stages of a few different projects and I'm excited to see how things continue to evolve over the next few weeks.

Its actually June 27th, even though I'm writing an article for June 20th. After this, I'm going to take a mini break, then organize some photo files and start putting together THIS week's article. I think for the first time in MONTHS i'll be posting a new article for the devils diary ON TIME.
